I've created a web page which documents, with sources, the history of the name and title of the Lynns of that Ilk (a/k/a Lords of Lynn) in Ayrshire. It establishes the fact that the Lynns owned the barony of Lynn for three centuries before selling it to the Boyds in 1532. Even then, they kept the manor place or mains of the barony, consisting of 16 acres. While not specifically stated on the web page, the barony originally consisted of 240 acres including Lynn Glen, Lynn Falls, the present-day High Lynn Farm, and surrounding area.
