Re: Mackie - Fyvie, Aberdeenshire, 19th cent

My late husband Andrew Ernest James Mackie was born in Fyvie.His ancestors were James Mackie born 1864-1944.(wife Elsie Isabella Munro)His son Col.William Mackie compiled the book "A Canny Man 1818-1828" which is the diary of his great grandfather, Adam Mackie who was a farmer,merchant and innkeeper in Fyvie.I am endeavouring to trace any of the members of this Mackie family.
James and Elsie had the following children

William born 1908 died 1989
(wife Isabel Watt Taylor born 1909 died 1985
Andrew Munro born 1911 died 1976
My late husband was the son of Andrew Munro Mackie who died in Australia.
