Re: McLENNAN TO AUSTRALIA

I am searching for a Duncan McLennan (or McLennon)b.abt 1798 married to Mary McKenzie b.abt 1790-1795. They had 17yr. old dau. Janet and 15yr. old son Archibald Alexander, when they left Scotland to come to Australia on the ship 'Mid Lothian', arriving 31-12-1837. They lived in the Dungog area of NSW,Australia Mary died 1868 and Duncan remarried, age 73 to Jane (Devine) Ryan, and had another son Sydney Alexander in 1874. Duncan died Feb.1875. Janet married William Souter Fisher at Eccleston, NSW on 1-9-1844.

I can't seem to locate them in Scotland. Shipping records show Duncan with Parish of Edderton, Roshire. Mary , Parish of ? something ending in "broom", Janet Parish of Ettertown( probably Edderton), the record shows Isle of Skye which has been crossed out. There are no details on Archibald.

Can anyone help?
