Re: McLENNAN TO AUSTRALIA

Hello Lorna, There is a marriage for Duncan McLennan and Mary McKenzie in the Parish of Lochbroom on 25th January, 1816.I checked the Old Parish Register film at Inverness today and could read Duncan McLennan; the rest of the entry was illegible.
There is a child to a couple of that name, as follows
born 20th May, 1828 in the O P R for Gairloch (adjacent parish to Lochbroom) Alexr. father - Duncan Mclennan, Kernsary; mother - Mary Mckenzie.It is not possible to say that he is a son of your couple, unfortunately.Nothing else has come re Janet or an Archibald Alexander.Cheerio for now, Donald.
