Donald McLennan, Inverness, Southampton

Donald McLennan b. abt 1845 in Inverness was the only McLennan appearing in the 1851 census for Southampton. He ended up as Superintendant in 1881 at the Ordnance Map Office in Southampton. I am trying to trace a connection with Farquhar McLennan, a mariner who is either his brother or possibly his father. Please can anyone help with my search for Farquhar or this Donald.
