McLennans Sydney Mines, NS census 1871 '81 '91

Hello - Searches have not yet proven that Anne McLennan below, wife of John McLennan is the daughter of Hugh Matheson (my grgrgrandfather)

Here are their census listings, the 1891 spelling of McLennan is a travesty, (McLillian!) so included that one.

These Mathesons in the household are of no interest to you MacLennans, but Hugh's wife Jessica died in 1868 & I believe they moved in with Hugh's daughter Anne (Matheson) McLennan. In June, after this census, William Matheson married Ellen Hennessey. (Grgrandparents)

Note:in 1891 the oldest McLennan child, Mary Anne would be 26 and has left home.Hugh Matheson died in 1885.

** William James, between Neil and Daniel/Donaldhas died between '81 & '91 census at age 13 in 1889. This info from his gravestone:

       "In memory of William James McLennan died February 1889 age 13 Years"

Any information on Ann(e) McLennan would be greatly appreciated.
