I found a book by Esther Clarke Wright written in 1955 titled The Loyalists of New Brunswick. There are threeMcLennans (McLinnon, McClanen, McLannon)listed as serving in the Revolutionary War and receiving grants in New Brunswick. The first one is Alexander a cordwainer with the number 85 behind it.He served with the Queen's Rangers and received a grant in P199.The next man is William he received a grant in Schoodic (St. Stephen, Charlotte county, New Brunswick. The next man is also a William. He served with the 42nd regiment and received a grant in St. John (Saint John).I would love to hear from descendants of these men, I am trying to find the family of my 4ggm Margaret MacLennan b. 1798 in New Brunswick. She married John Spencer in 1820 and witnesses to the marriage were Abel Pond and George Weade.
