John and William MacLennan aboard Hector 1773 Inverness- Pictou, Nova Scotia

Hello,

I am hoping to find info on John and William MacLennan who came to Pictou in 1773 aboard the Hector.Does anyone know the relationship of these two men, ages, hometown, siblings etc?

I have found a William MacLennan who served with the 42nd Highlanders or Black Watch, they were discharged in Halifax in 1783.

I also found a Willm MacLennan listed in the Fredericton Wesleyan Methodist Church as father of Ann Christened 7 oct 1801.

I am descended from Margaret MacLennan b. 1798 in New Brunswick. She married John Spencer 9 Jan 1822 in St. Mary's, York, New Brunswick. I am descended from their son William.

Does anyone know of any info to connect these men?

I would love any help I could get.

Thanks

LaRee
