My family also came from Loch Carron but I don't have a record of a John son of Ewan.

Possible cousins may be Hugh MacLennan b. 1760 and married to Isabella MacKay.Had seven children including John, b. 1784, who married. in sequence,Christy, Mary and Flora.

Separate line from Loch Carron includes Duncan MacLennan, b.1740?,who married (10 May Mac Donald, and(2)Kate Matheson.Most descendants emigrated to Nova Scotia and USA.

There may be a tie between Loch Carron and Kinlochewe MacLennans according to a book by Bridgette MacKenzie.??
