Dear Fiona...thank you so much for your reply to my maclennan research....yes Angus I have found but wasn't sure it was my gr gr grandfather as his mother was listed as Anne Maclennan and not Mary so was a bit bamboozled. Glad you have cleared that up for me. Do have a copy of Angus's birth certificate but can find no record of Neil or Marys existance. Did find them on the 1871 census with Angus as a 10 yr old boy, neil as 70 and Mary as 64. Other than that there is no record of them. Would dearly love any help on them or further back if you have it. Thank you so much Fiona...Catherine
