Checked out Angus's marriage cert.....
Angus was born 1861/62
His parentswere Neil Maclennan and Mary Macdonald
He married Christina Macdonald 8 march 1892...On the cert. it says his father was Neil and mother Margaret?(which I thought might have been a nicname for Mary.(it kind of threw me but the dates/names etc match up.
On his death cert. it says his father was Neil Maclennan and his mother was Mary Macdonald. He died 23 Aug 1947.
Neil too was a crofter and Angus was a fisherman.
I also found him on the 1881 census with Neil and Mary living with him and also his brother Donald. He also has another brother Farquhar who was not at home that night....possibly at sea?

Have you any notes on this family....can't believe there are 2 similar Neils etc. Found it hard to find anything on one family never mind two.
