Thank you for all the information you supplied.

It would appear possibly that another sibbling called Mary
was born around 1815 judging by the 1841 census.

When my greatgrandfather came to Canada there was another
McLennan Family nearby.His name was John and he was married to a Mary.John was born around 1807 and Mary was born around 1815.

I wonder if John was the brother of neil and Alexander.John was married in scotland to Mary,I don't know
her maiden name but they had at least two children in Scotland James born about 1847 and Ellen born about 1848

Would you by chance know when and where alexander and Ann
died and were buried

I have been trying for years to track down my scottish ancestors on the Mclennan side.My greatgrandfather Neil
married Ann Cameron who came from North Uist.They were married however in 1854 in Canada.
