Hello Laurie, this is my third attempt to get this on the air as every time I check my spellings I lose the message.Never mind, maybe this time.Go into
http://www.dvol.com/~users/diane/index.htmhttp://www.dvol.com/~users/diane/index.htm
as this site has twolots of maps in it.I like the first set as it has a zoom and look for facility. It is hosted by diane mackenzie and you can try that name if the first site does not come up.ED stands for enumeration district as the parishes were divided into districts for census purpose.Inverness being a highly populated parish had a lot of districts, around 28 or so, maybe more.Do not worry about forgetting your sites, we all do it unless you check them out once a week which is time consuming.I doubt if we are related as my MacLennans come from Fodderty Parish near Dingwall, and some of them moved Inverness way about 188o or so, but you never know as we all have stragglers!!!Cheerio for now, Donald.
