Dear Laura, My name is Ronda Forseth and I live at Dodgevill, Wisconsin in a house believed to have belonged to William Israel Maddin and Louisiana Dodge.Louisiana Dodge was the daughter of Governor Henry Dodge, the first Gvernor of the Wisconsin territory.There is a Henry Dodge Maddin buried in the Dodgeville East Side Cemetery.In the Abstract for our house there is William and Louisiana, James, Henry and his wife Sallie A. D, Maddin.Also there are Frank B.Maddin, Nellie A. Maddin, Henry D. Maddin, Jessie S. Maddin, George K. Maddin, heirs of Henry Maddin, deceased.Henry Maddin diedAugust 25, 1874. Frankwas 14, Henry D. was 10, George K. was 5, Nellie A. was 12 and Jessie Lee was 8.I really don't have any informationafter April 26, 1877.I was told by a man from Dodgeville that Governor Dodge moved to Iowa where his som lived.I found old censu in the Dodgeville library with Dodge family and Maddin family.I also sent a reply to James Maddin looking for William Israel Maddin.My name and address are Ronda Forseth, 218 E.
