Patrick Magee (c. 1834-1904?), son of Hugh Magee, came to Taunton, MA in 1854 from Ireland and married in that year Bridget E. Kirby (c. 1837-1908)dau of James J. and Margaret (Dunn) Kirby.Patrick was Catholic, Bridget Protestant.They had children Hugh F., Charles, Joseph, and Francis D. Magee in Taunton.

Patrick was perhaps a brother of Michael Magee of Taunton (b. 1831 Co. Monahan, d. 1894 Taunton), son of Hugh and Mary (Feeley) Magee.
