Re: Addison and Ida Makely
Austin was my father's brother--Makely is Holland dutch - this was always emphasized by the family saying specifically Makely was not German Dutch. Family Tree Maker has all my family information on their WFT volume 9 tree 2308. Obtain a copy from FTM - my research goes back as far as 1736 - to Johannes Makely (married to Catherine Tiel)- they had a son Christian - he had a son Peter and Peter had a son Addison and Addison had a son Austin (and Daniel)- The tree will show all of Johannes's children and their children's children as far as my research went. I am originally from Ravena ---- as far as I know Austin after his divorce did live with a woman - I think her first name was Edie. Austin had his own business in Albany - if I remember right I think it was radiator closures and things like that. He also had a home on top of a small mountain outside of Albany in a township called Fuera Bush. Austin is buried in the Chestnut Lawn Cemetery in New Baltimore - Greene County, New York -- Addison and Ida are also buried in the same cemetery as is my father and mother Daniel (Austin's brother).
