Tresa, Thank you for posting.I know how it is to work 6 days a week. At one time I worked 6 ten hour days a week for 6 months.Talk about stress. You may have all of this but I thought I would post it anyway, just in case. William and Ida were married November 16, 1887 at the San Pablo Ave Baptist Church. William died of Cystitis and Prostatitis.William was born December 29, 1839 and not 1838 as his DC shows. His DC states that he was buried at Mountain View, as you also point out. What I have is that Irma was born May 17, 1894 and she was adopted by William and Ida. This adoption seems to be a problem with some Maloon researchers. Is it your understanding that Irma was adopted?I have a written statement by William, as well as my Dad, stating that Irma was adopted. My dad, Reynold Keith, along with his Mother, Gertrude Clark, lived with Ida,Irma and William when Gertrude seperated from her husband Charles Keith. Gertrude, b. Jan. 2, 1876 d. Jan. 6, 1944, was the daughter of William Clark and Mary Reynolds.Mary died at Gilman, CO on November 4, 1888.Not to worry about the date,William and Mary were divorced in Leadville, Co in 1884. Carl and Irma were married, as you know. They had at least one daughter, Barbra. She married someone by the name of Huse or Hose.I can't read my dad's writing of the name to be sure.Do you also have this information?
With all the people selling genealogy information, and peoples private information, it makes one a little nervous about sharing. If you meet and talk more to your person in the Bay Area, he may become a little more trusting.
I mentioned Charles Keith, Gertrude's husband and my Grandfather. If you ever come across any information about his family, I would give you my right arm, almost. He just appeared from nowhere. His family is the only family I haven't been able to find anything on. If any of the above sounds confusing, or if you want more information, let me know. Thanks Bob Keith
