Re: Manford Family Tree
Great to hear from you and thanks. My e-mail is email@example.com
About me: I am 38, married, 3 kids and work for the Federal Aviation Administration, in what is known as the Central Region of the US. This would be the Kansas City, Missouri area of the US which is about right dead smack in the middle of the map.
When I started this search all I knew was that our family was from Scotland or Wales and that I was named after my great grandfather Jerry. Since then I have made my way back 6 generations to Jerry's Father whom was named Jeremiah. He is buried in Indiana, USA. I have not gotten back much further than this but this puts Jeremiah's birth at around 1750.
My father was Donald Lee Manford, a Lawyer by profession. He served as a State Senator for the state of Missouri for 13 years, and as a Judge for 12 yrs before his death in 1991.
There were 4 children from Carol J.Manford
(Madien:VonDemfange) and Donald.
Gregory Howard ManfordSept.16 1958 - 1988
(this might seem strange but for some reason I can't remember when my brother died, I have a copy of the death certificate so I will check.)
Gerald Lee Manford (myself) Jan.23 1963 - ?
Gayle Lynn Manford LivesayMay 23, 1964 - ?
Eugenia Kay Manford BodnarFeb. 161967 - ?
I am new at this and there seems to be a family split here in the US that centers around Indiana. There are Manfords in Holden, MO. not far from me that I know I must be related to but am unsure as to how. I have contacted them and we are putting the puzzel together best we can.
Tell me all you can about yourself and what you know about this great family we belong to. Look forward to hearing from you. I have traveled to the UK on several occasions, I and love our homeland.
Send your e-mail address direct and we can send you some pictures.
