Dictionnaire Genealogique des Familles du Quebec, by Rene Jette, Les Presses de l'Universite de Montreal, 1983.

Jette is a very accurate and comprehensive genealogical resource for French Canadian Genealogy. If the person of European ancestry either arrived in Canada or was born in Canada before Dec. 31, 1730, which is where Jette arbitrarily cut off his work, there is a 99% chance that they are listed here. However, if anything happens in their life after Dec. 31, 1730, it won't be listed here.He lists Martin Prevost and in that sectiontells us that Martin marries Marie Sylvestre, a "Huronne", father Roch and mother not listed..No separate entries though for Marie or Roch.

Jette is in French but fairly comprehensible to somebody who knows no French.Basically it says Bill, son of so and so, marries Sue, daughter of so and so, at this time and place.A list of kids with birth dates and places then follows. With few exceptions, a female is not independetly listed.

By the way, if you are a descendent of Martin Prevost and Marie, thre is an interesting in-law here. After Marie dies, Martin remarries to Marie D'Abancourt.Marie D'Abancourt in her first marriage (Martin is her third husband I beleive) was the mother of the explorer Joliet.
