Re: Where did the name Mann come from??

Thanks for your reply.I have heard it was English,
but I was also told it was Jewish. I do know that some Jewish people did shorten their names, but not sure this is where Mann came from.Now I am back at square one :-))I hope others will give us their input.I would be interested
in what others have been told or maybe have proof of.
