I finally got more information yesterday in the mail. I received a copy of my greatgrandfather's death certificate.It was so exciting.From the information listed he only lived in Maryland and died in Baltimore in 1901.That is much earlier than I had thought.
I also found out that he had a brother named Thomas. I got all of that from the Maryland State Archieves. They have a lot of records that are so interesting.
Maybe you can look in the Archieves in Texas.
