Still looking any info or family stories about this mysterious man.My grgrandfather, Melroy Manns m. Mary (Lane) Dean in late 1890's.Lived in Wayne, Lincoln and Logan Cos. WV.Mary died in 1930's in Logan Co., buried in Lincoln Co.There is no family history or stores about Melroy.Some family stories say he came from Scott Co. VA, and his parents died when he was young.I had contact w/ the Social Security Dept and they advised he reported his parents as George Manns and Katie Myer of Wayne Co.
