Elijah Mann

I have a friend, last name Manns. She believes that her greatgrandfather Elijah Mann was married to a Cherokee woman named Marta (not Martha) Baily. They lived in ohio. We are trying to establish if Marta was Cherokee and what her trible background is.If any one can help in would be great...Thanks Liz
