You may be interested to know that we have now established a pretty cast-iron connection from Garret Rysdyk to Rev. Isaac Rysdyk pastor of New Hackensack, Fishkill and Hopewell in Dutchess County, who was almost certainly Garret's father. The Rysdyk Line goes back in Holand to circa 1692, and maybe further in Norden, Germany. If you would like more details please come back to me.
