NJ Maring Hoboken
My grandmother was from Germany area b 6 May 1858 arriving to US NJ 1884. She had married a Maring (JOHN) we believe, and had 3 children with him 1. Adele @ 1886 2. John Henry b Hoboken NJ Feb 7, 1888-9/1864 married w 3 children surviving dau Dorothy married Eugene Muglia= Joan 1953 3. Lydia Anne b.Mar 7 1890 married Frank Erlenkotter in NJ=no kids,. And in a second marriage after widowed child 4. Leo Delman BohmeFor some reason they listed 1900 Hoboken Census she had a niece Lydia Ann w/ her age 6/12 niece and John 12 nephew. Were they lying to the census taker re Lydia and John - they also ststed b Germany for Everyone except child 4 Leo as NJ.
I think (JohnMaring b@1847-55) there are only a few families of Marings he'd belong to but it's only a guess
Terry Bohme California grandson of Leo Bohme
