My Maples line goes back to Stephen Maples born Abt. 1684 in New London, CT died August 26, 1755 in New London, CT married Patience Fargo born May 09, 1688 in New London, CT married April 17, 1718 in North Parish, CT.My father (deceased) told me the Morris name had been spelled with an "a" instead of the "o", so I'm researching Marris / Maris as well as Morris.No luck thus far.No listing in SSDI, and no more relatives to obtain info from.This is a lone search, so all assistance is appreciated.
