I am also a descendent of George Hudson Martin. His parents were Hezekiah Martin and Mary (Polly) Wingfield. The Hudson name came from the Wingfield side of the family. John Wingfield b abt 1695, New kent Co, Va & d in Hanover Co, Va m. Mary (Polly) Hudson. She was the daughter of Charles Hudson and the great grandmother of Mary (Polly) Wingfield.
