Re: Joseph Martinec or Martinek mid-1800s

One of my second great grandfathers was named Joseph (Josef) Martinek, from somewhere in today's Czech Republic.He had a daughter, Pauline, who married Cyril Janda in May 1879 in or near Plesice, in today's Moravia, and promptly emigrated to Nebraska, settling in Plattsmouth.

I and my cousins haven't yet found much more information
