I think James the son Hezekiah Massey and Elizabeth had at least one son named James Massey

James MASSEY IIwas born in 1743/5 in North Carolina or Virginia. He appeared on the census in 1790 in Richland Co., South Carolina. Census showed 1 son under 16 and two females. He died in 1829 in Crnersville, Marshall Co., Tennessee. Possibly died in 1839. Before his death James, Jr. lived with his son Ephraim in Tennessee. He was married to MILLER
