Here some information for you it may help or not,John MASSIE (Junior) was born about 1810 in Amhurst Co., Va. He was the oldest or second oldest of serveral brothers and sisters. He was a farmer. His wife Samantha DARLING, was born about 1814 in Pennsylvania. They were married about 1830. Soon after their marriage , they moved to Scioto, Union Township, Ohio, about 1855. And all of their children were born in Ohio -Sarah, Julius,John MASSIE (Senior) was born about 1790. and lived in Amherst Co. Va. John was in agriculture, and had no slaves like many other people did in the area.Anymore information please e-mail me back
