John Chrysostome Masson b ca1803 Quebec

John Chrysostome Masson was my gr-gr-grandfather. He was born ca1803 in Quebec somewhere. He and his wife Louisa Renaud were married in Notre Dame Church, Ottawa on Sep 19, 1837. They had 12 children and lived most of their life in Glengarry County, Ontario. Any clue to his parents would be greatly appreciated. There is a small town near the Canada-US border named St Chrysostome which leads me to look in that direction, but so far...nothing. I have been collecting a lot of Masson material in hopes of connecting to one family.
