I have Thomas Mast & Harriet Shonk-Mast, both born around 1814, in PA, as Henry Shonk Mast's parents. I don't know if my records are accurate.My info. came from a fellow family researcher's database.The info. that I received has Thomas Mast's father as Samuel Lewis b.1885, NY & Amy b.1887, NJ.So, I don't know if Thomas Mast was Adopted, Samuel's stepson, or if the info. is just plain incorrect.
My relationship is through Mary Ellen Mast & her (I believe) second husband Elwood Erastus McVey.Their daughter, Esther Elmira McVey-Gibbs was my paternal Grandmother.
