My husband's grandmother, Nora Belle Masters, was the daughter of James Masters and Susan L. ? She was born 20 May 1897 in Owensboro, Daviess County, KY. She married Alfred Spurgeon Hohimer there in 1914 and then moved to Bakersfield, CA before 1918. Do not have any more info on James and Susan or their parentage, etc. James and Susan had 3 other children: Matthew b. 6/1892, William b. 11/1894, Bessie Mae b. ? m. Houston?
