William R. Matlock, b. abt. 1830 Hawkins Co. TN

We are still trying to prove the parentage of my gggrandfather William Robert Matlock. We know that he was a grandson of Richard Matlock, born about 1761 in Granville, N.C. but we still are not sure which of Richard's sons was his father. Some still say it was William Matlock, born 1810, Hawkins County TN and some say it was his brother Charles. If anyone out there knows anything about this and can help us settle this once and for all, please kindly place a followup in this forum. Thank You, Carlyon Sue McKinney
