My great-grand aunt, Stella JENKINS married Norris Hayden Maxon. Stella was the daughter of William B. Jenkins and Catherine Ann Davis BAKER. I don' t have anything on his Norris' s ancestry, but am putting below what I have on him and his descendants about which I have information:
Descendants of Norris MAXON
First Generation
1. Norris MAXON was born 1 Apr 1849.
Norris married (MRIN:227) Stella "Ella" JENKINS, daughter of William Brooks JENKINS and Catherine Ann Davis BAKER (MRIN:118), on 13 Aug 1874. Stella was born 25 Dec 1859 in Quincy, Adams, IL. She died Aug 1923.
Entered 8/16/1992 from information in "Facts concerning the Baker family of the Eastern Shore of Maryland" a copy of Muriel Manlove Smith's book which was given to her by Nina Warren Leach Pike of Three Lakes, Wisc. 1931, copied by Ruth Garvin Bishop. The copy contains handwritten notes and additions entered by Bammer (Edna LaRue Brockway Garvin).

Miss Ella Jenkins, for some time past in school in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, returned last week.
September 5, 1872; Personal.Miss Ella Jenkins and her two cousins, the Misses LaRue and Josie Grantham, who have been spending vacation in Rushville, left last week for Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Miss Jenkins proposes to continue in the Iowa Wesleyan University till she graduates.
They had the following children:

Kidergarten director in St. Louis, Mo. schools.
3 M ii. John Paul "Paul" MAXON was born 20 Nov 1876. He died 14 Oct 1898 in El Paso, , TX.
4 F iii. Lois Ella MAXON was born 12 Jan 1888.
Art supervisor for St. Louis, Mo. schools.
+ 5 M iv. Rex Hayden MAXON was born 24 Mar 1892.
Second Generation
5. Rex Hayden MAXON (Norris) was born 24 Mar 1892.
Entered from Facts of the Baker Family of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Rex was newspaper writer and artist for "New York Globe" and "New York Evening Mail" who lived at one time at Sheepshead Bay, Long Island, NY.
Rex married (MRIN:228) Hazel V. CARTER on 23 Apr 1919. Hazel was born 5 Sep 1892.
They had the following children:
6 M i. William Norris MAXON was born 16 Jan 1920.
