I have a James Joseph McAuley, Born 16/6/1835 in County Meath, Ireland who came to New Zealand via Melbourne, Australia in early 1860.He married Elizabeth Hunt in Oamaru on the 22/10/1862 and lived at Awamoko, North Otago. They had 9 children, Henry - Buried in Temuka, Jane - Buried in Oamaru, Caroline - Buried in Georgetown, James - Buried in Timaru, Elizabeth - Buried in Oamaru, Mary - Buried in Oamaru, Blanch - Buried in Christchurh, John - Buried in Christchurch and Thomas - Buried in Arrowtown.
