McCafferty family in Scotland

Where do I start:I live in Central Scotland and am part of a large McCafferty clan.My grandfather Neil McCafferty originated from Letterkenny, Ireland before moving to Scotland and marrying Roseanne Boyle.They had 12 children: Charlie, Neil, Michael, Owen (my dad), Bernard, John (who was known as Johnny La Bounty and lived in New York for most of his life), Neil, Henry, Mary, Rose, Kathleen and Sarah (known to us all as Nan and who also lived in New York for most of her life).Unfortunately my dad and his brothers and sisters have now passed, with only my uncle Harry (i.e.Henry) left to tell the old McCafferty tales.
I am one of 8 children to Owen McCafferty and Mary O'Donnell. We are Neil, Giles, Martin, Pat, Michael, Gerard, Winifred and Rosemary. We have lots of cousins who live locally and a few spread around the globe.
