Gee, thanks for posting this, I found my grt aunt & uncle Charlie McCafferty's Letter to Santa in the Fort Worth Star Telegram archives and suggested to David Casstevens with Fort Worth Star Telegram what a wonderful Christmas Story this could be, with economy tanking.

There were some David and I both were shedding tears over...this children asked for little...and were so appreciative of what they did get....
