Bonnie Jean Haynes, who died March 2, 2003, in Red Bank, Tennessee, was descended from this line.Her brother Roy Haynes married Bessie P. Thomas, great-great-granddaughter of Colin McCain of Clay County.Bonnie Jean's funeral was held in Sylacauga, Alabama.I last saw Bonnie Jean five years ago at the funeral of Bessie (Thomas) Haynes Spence in Birmingham in 1998.

BONNIE JEAN HAYNES CHANDLER
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Funeral service for Bonnie Jean Haynes Chandler, 72, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North chapel with the Rev. Mike Pearson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Chandler died March 2 at her residence. She was a native of Sylacauga, a member of White Oak Baptist Church in Red Bank, Tenn., and was retired from Tennessee Valley Authority.
She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Chandler Howell of Aiken, S.C.; one son, James Chandler Jr. of Chattanooga, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Sue Haynes of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Jay Howell of Aiken, S.C., Cristy Howell of Aiken, S.C., Jeff Howell of Aiken, S.C., and Shannon Chandler of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Dane Sumner, Johnny Tomlin, Jay Howell, Jeff Howell, Clyde Howell and Ramey Sumner.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the service.
