FOR MY MOTHER
Last year I sent out a plea for whomever received my letter to send my father, who had been through some bad times, words of encouragement, whether it was a card, letter or just a note. So many of you replied, and I want to thank you for making the days he had left here, a little more uplifting.
My father, James Kenneth McClain, passed away this past weekend, June 8th, 2003. I can’t even accept the fact that he is gone, however, I know, he will suffer no more. Today, I am asking the same thing from you for my mother. Although we are all having a very difficult time, My mother and father were together for 43 years, and I can’t even imagine how she must feel. We lost my father on my mother’s birthday.
I know how your cards and notes of encouragement helped my father, and made him feel like there were still good, decent, caring people in the world, so I am now asking for whom ever receives this email, to send a card or note of encouragement to my mother, Marie McClain. I know its something for me to ask, but I believe you can really make a difference in her life, I have seen it happen. So please, if you receive this, buy one stamp, write one little note, or a card and help me make her future seem just a little brighter. Or, forward this email on to someone else, or say a prayer for my family. I cant thank you enough.
