Thos McClurkin married Delina Goodwin 1820

According to a couple of marriage records indexes a Thomas McClurkin married a Delina Goodwin in Blount Co., TN on 19 Jun 1820.I can find no census records for Blount Co for 1820 and before.On an 1801 Blount Co. TN tax list there is a Thomas McCurkin (missing the 'L').So there is the possibility anyway that this Thomas McClurkin of 1820 Blount was there as early as 1801.Does anyone know who this fellow is??I'm curious because we seem to have lost one Thomas a bit prematurely in SC.Wondering if this might be him??
