James McClurkin Jr SC

In researching the James McClurkin family is SC 1790's could James Jr and his wife both be deceased and their children Jennet and Catherine were living with Samuel McClurkin son of James Sr. There was certainly a lot of land exchange and movement westward to the same areas of TENN with both of these families, McClanahans and McClurkins. The 1790census has three families in the family of Samuel McClanahan. Just a thought.
