I have information on Hugh McConnell (1756-1835) who married Elizabeth Jolly (1765-1842).One of their children was Elizabeth McConnell (? - 1876).See the excerpt from my genealogy file listed below.I have no information on the descendants of Hugh & Elizabeth's children, but would like to have.If you think this could be your Elizabeth, I will be happy to share the information I have on her ancestors with you.My email address is [email protected].

Del Cadena Dr., Scottsdale AZ 85258.Dated August 1, 1990.) was born 1756 in New Castle, Delaware, and died 1835 in Fountain County, Indiana.He married ELIZABETH JOLLY 1785 in Ohio County, (West) Virginia, daughter of DAVID JOLLY and ELIZABETH KELLY.She was born 1765, and died 1842.

Hugh was one of two survivors of the Indian attack on Fort Henry's scouting party mentioned in William Shepherd's notes.
According to Peggy Law, Hugh and Elizabeth had ten children; however there were only nine listed on the index card in the Wheeling Library.

       v.       SAMUEL MCCONNELL, b. 1800; d. 1876.
       vi.       ELIZABETH MCCONNELL, b. Unknown; d. 1876.
       vii.       ESTHER "HETTIE" MCCONNELL, b. 1803; d. 1841.
       viii.       WILLIAM MCCONNELL, b. 1805; d. 1852.
       ix.       HUGH MCCONNELL, JR., b. 1807; d. 1883.

Incidentally, I have been corresponding with Ernie Lunsford in regard to his ancestor Agnes McConnell, who is a sister of my ancester, James McConnell (1790 - 1866).
