Hi R C,,,was prowling thru the notes on here, came across yours, and couldn't resist to ask this question. Can you list the 8 children of your James. Our line is from Arthur McConnell b. abt 1730 md. Elizabeth Willson on Nov 11 1754 in Lancaster Co, PA. Marriage records state they were both of Strausberg Twp.
I know I am grasping at straws here, but we have a lot of James' in our line. Infact one of Arthur's son was a James and in my line (Arthur Jr), he had a son James. Nothing conclusive you understand, just wondering if maybe your James and my Arthur may be connected in some way.
As usuall I am willling to share info with anyone and would love to find out more about the Alexander McConnell b. 1700 that came from Scotland/Ireland.
