You could try the government website at ScotlandsPeople.You might have to pay for results but you should be able to obtain a lot of information here.The site is at
http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/ The Wills section is free to search but you will need to register (for free) before you can search for wills, and if you want the contents of a will you will have to pay for it.Births, marriages and deaths can be searched, but you need to pay for the details there as well.

The LDS site is more useful for records before 1855.

You will get better results from the LDS site for dates before official registration which began in Scotland in 1855.
