Yes. Charles Orrick married Mary Campbell who was the daughter ofJames Campbell (died -1817) and his wife Sarah Campbell (his cousin)who md. in 1772, James was the son of Dougal Campbell (1744-1817).These Campbells resided on Middle Creek nr. Middletown (renamed Gerrardstown), Berkeley Co, [W]VA, the same area where several McConnell's lived including William McConnell (1750-1807) who is buried in Gerrardstown Presby Cem. Since James Campbell was forrage master in 1781-82 supplying soldiers in Redstone Fort in Fayette Co, PA, I wondered if there could be a connection between the McConnells of Berkeley Co.
