I'm trying to determine if my Carson line connects with the McCords of PA and Washington Co TN.My 4g grandfather David Carson (born 1755-65) named a son Ambrose (several of those in the McCord family). He lived bear David, James and other McCords in Washington Co TN.Some Carson daughters (possibly sisters or cousins) married McCords.One source said they were daughters of David Carson (would be an older David relative).Most if not all the Carsons in that area were related.

David Carson administered the will of a William Carson who died in 1790 Washington Co TN leaving a widow Margaret (think they may be David's parents).A William Carson married Margaret McCord in PA c1740s and some sources say they moved to that area.

I'm trying to figure out this William and Margaret if she was a McCord and the other Carson/McCord connections.

Any hints?
