I am a descendant of James and Ann Taylor.Ann was a daughter of Audley Paul and Jane Matthews.The Taylors had ten children and I descend through their son James who married Elizabeth McCorkle, daughter of William McCorkle.After both their spouses died, Ann and William married, I suppose to help raise their large families.James Taylor died 23 Feb 180l in Rockbridge Co., VA.I have their ten children.James and four brothers came from Armagh, Ireland to America.His brothers were George, William, John and Caulfold or Caufield.William and Caufield also married Paul girls, sisters of Ann.Which Taylor do you descend from?
