I'll have to read more about that.

The McCrarys in my ahnentafel chart (that I know of) go back to

William "Billy" McCrary
b. 14 June 1824; Antrim, Ireland;
Immigrated to Clark Mills, Ontario with parents, 5 brothers and sister.
Came to Michigan in 1853. Moved with his wife to Hope, Midland County, MI in 1857.
Founded the Centennial Farm and the “Red Keg” Saloon.
Had 8 children. Colonel in Civil War; Michigan 87th.       
       m. 24 Nov 1854
       d. 3 Dec 1912; Hope, Midland County, Michigan
Buried at Old Hope Cemetery
