J.S. McCrary in Howard County, Arkansas

J.S. McCrary (1828-1897) was buried in the County Line Cemetery, Howard County, Arkansas. He was in Co. A, 13th S.C. Infantry during the Civil War, which further records I found identify him as a native of Laurens County, S.C.

Also buried in the same cemetery was M.C. McCrary (1834-1908) who I know was Matthew Calhoun McCrary, a son of Matthew and Nancy (Henley) McCrary of Laurens County, S.C. M.C. McCrary's wife, Rachel Helen Young (1840-1898), was also buried there, and was his cousin of Laurens County parents.

Another buried there is Martha McCrary (1828-1905) who I suspect may have been the wife of J.S. McCrary.

Doe anyone know who J.S. McCrary was? Was he a brother of M.C. McCrary?
